Michael, his wife Annie, and their two children arrive at his mother'’s house with the usual fear and trepidation that accompanies time spent with Grandma Rose. Thinking that they are only coming for a meal, Michael quickly discovers that Rose has other plans. Her beloved pet dog, Happy, has been declining in health and she enlists her son and to put the dog out of its misery. But killing Happy turns out to not to be as easy as it seems.
